Health Services Supervisory Management Skills
Leading to a QQI Level 6 qualification 6M4978
There are many employment opportunities at present in Healthcare and this course will enable a person already working part time, or those wishing to progress from a QQI level 5 course, to up-skill to be able to work at a supervisory level in the healthcare sector.
This new course at North Connaught College will be run partly in college and work placement will be an important integral part of the course too. Students will be in a small class group with course support and career guidance available.

A registration fee of 200 Euros is payable by all entrants to plc courses in Ireland. Those with a medical card, Back to Education Allowance, or a maintenance grant do not have to pay this registration fee. Maintenance grants or Back to Education allowances are available for eligible students. A student service charge of €75 is payable by all students.
Work experience is an integral element of this course as this is a work based programme. Participants are required to attend work experience one day every week in a relevant vocational setting.
Upon successful completion of this course participants will be awarded a QQI Level 6 certificate. Course assessment is based on a mixture of continuous assessment and examination.
QQI certification is a nationally recognised Award. Successful participants can apply for employment in a variety of healthcare settings. Past students from this course have been very successful in securing local employment.
